Salaries of Kannada Journos four decades ago!

Journo always carried a small salary packet. Atleast the vernacular journos. In the year 1967 even K Shamarao, Assistant Editor of SK took just Rs.619.80 while Surendra Dani, News Editor carried Rs.590.00 and HRN, the lone Chief Sub Editor for the entire edition was paid Rs.525=00.
